Pippa asks before she looks.

When you first start Pippa, you decide for each area whether she may look inside. You can change that anytime in Settings.

- AI on your Mac- Pippa’s AI runs on your Mac, even without internet. You don’t need an account.

- Emails only as drafts- Pippa drafts replies. You send them.

- A memory you can read- What she remembers is in a text file on your Mac. She doesn’t remember passwords or account numbers.

- Online only when needed- Pippa only goes online for downloads, updates and web searches. Below the answer you see what she searched for.

- Open source- MIT license. Anyone can check what Pippa does.

How much does Pippa cost?

Nothing. No subscription, no ads.

Will Pippa run on my Mac?

On any Mac with Apple silicon (M1 or later) and macOS 15 or later. You can check in the Apple menu under “About This Mac”.

Do I need internet?

Once, to download Pippa’s AI. After that she works offline. For web searches and updates Pippa goes online, and below the answer you see what she searched for.

Who sees my data?

Nobody but you. The AI runs on your Mac, and there is no Pippa server. Only if you add a ChatGPT or other AI account yourself do your conversations go there. More in the privacy policy (German).

Can Pippa break anything?

When tidying up, she shows you her plan first and waits for your okay. “Undo” puts everything back. She only creates emails as drafts. Small steps she does right away and notes below the answer what she changed.

Get Pippa.

- Open the downloaded file and drag Pippa into the Applications folder.

- Open Pippa. Before she downloads her AI, she asks you and tells you how big it is.

- Drop your Downloads folder on Pippa.
