## @SternDrewCrypto (Stern Drew) · 09-27 15:41 · ♥103 ↻33 💬5 🚨 Another U.S. Bank Just Collapsed: The Fed’s Next Vote Isn’t About Rates, It’s About Banking System’s Survival
Nano Banc (California) was shut Friday. FDIC in. Sunwest took the deposits. ~$114M hit to the insurance fund.
That’s 6 bank failures in 2026 vs 2 in all of 2025. Small bank. Same disease: high funding costs + vacant commercial property that can’t refinance.
The bond market is already pricing the strain:
2-year ~4.9% | 10-year ~5.17% | 30-year ~5.49%
Those yields crush old bonds on bank books and turn CRE refinancing into a meat grinder.
They’re Engineering the Crisis They Need for the New Monetary Architecture
Bessent has talked about another Bretton Woods-style moment in a 4-year window. The GENIUS Act already requires regulated dollar stablecoins to sit in cash and ultra-short Treasuries. Every new digital dollar = forced demand for government paper.
Stablecoins are already ~$300B, with officials floating a path to multi-trillion.
December is next: Fed targeting a final Basel capital package after the Dec 9 rate decision. Soft rules ease credit. Hard rules squeeze weak banks. Either way, the architecture changes under pressure.
Gold is the tell: still ~$4,285/oz.
Sequence: debt piles → yields spike → banks/CRE crack → “temporary” market support → new rails (stablecoins + Treasuries + new capital rules).

## @XRPMoonWalkK (XRPMoonWalk) · 09-27 15:19 · ♥77 ↻6 💬6 Have you ever wondered why they won’t say ripple:native out loud?
Larry Fink, asked about an $XRP ETF: “I can’t talk about that.”
Elon, asked about $XRP by name: won’t speak to any specific crypto.
DTCC: “We’ll use XLM” for tokenized securities — then talks multi-chain like the FX/settlement rail is still classified.
SWIFT: “We’re upgrading for faster cross-border.”
That’s bridge-asset language.
FedNow: instant USD rails + stablecoins still need something to move value between systems.
They’ll name every other ticker.
They’ll name every other chain.
They go quiet when it’s the one built to sit between them.
Why is $XRP the one they treat like classified?
Have you thought about that?
If classification surrounds $XRP— then this is bigger than what we’re being told.

Meet @KiiChainio, an on-chain FX orchestration layer for not just stable coins but local stablecoins aimed at emerging market payments, trade and remittances.
To grasp the magnitude of this growth for blockchain technology you first need to understand the dynamics of the traditional FX market and how Kii treats the 5 jobs which in the real sense are 5 jobs in different companies as one...

## @MarcoSalzmann80 (Marco Salzmann 🇩🇪🇻🇪 Ħ²) · 09-27 16:15 · ♥51 ↻9 💬0 🧵 FedNow is preparing new cross-border capabilities.
That makes @droppcc worth a closer look:
• Built on Hedera • Implemented RTP integration with Truist • Demonstrated USDC payments • Listed in the FedNow Service Provider Showcase
Here’s how those pieces fit. 👇
On September 23, the @federalreserve announced upcoming tests of enhanced message formats for the U.S. domestic leg of cross-border payments.
The international portion would still require intermediaries and payment arrangements beyond FedNow.
The regulatory step remains essential.
The Fed says the functionality is contingent on necessary Regulation J and Operating Circular 8 approvals.
This is preparation for expanded capabilities—not a broadly available cross-border FedNow service today.
Now look at what Dropp already has.
Truist confirms that Dropp implemented its RTP solution through an API integration.
Merchants can receive instant disbursements, with on-demand, intraday or end-of-day settlement options.
A bank-confirmed implementation.
RTP and FedNow are separate systems.
RTP is operated by The Clearing House. FedNow is operated by the Federal Reserve.
Dropp’s Truist integration establishes operational banking connectivity through RTP. It does not establish a live FedNow integration.
Where does @hedera fit?
Truist’s own case study describes Dropp as a platform supporting USD and stablecoin merchant payments using modern banking rails and Hedera DLT.
Hedera is part of Dropp’s technology stack, alongside its banking connections.
There is also evidence at checkout.
For Smarter Faster Payments 2026, Dropp’s CEO announced Pay-by-Bank demos over RTP and Pay-by-Stablecoin demos using USDC on Hedera.
@droppcc later confirmed live bank and stablecoin demos across payment terminals and retail POS systems.
The practical proposition:
Let merchants accept bank payments and stablecoins through a unified payment experience.
Bank connectivity handles one payment route. @hedera supports the digital-asset side.
The customer-facing application brings those options together.
And FedNow?
Dropp’s official showcase profile describes plans to partner with banks using FedNow for merchant settlement and instant payments.
That is a documented intended route.
The showcase listing itself is not proof of production integration or Federal Reserve endorsement.
This is why the new FedNow development is relevant.
Expanded bank-payment capabilities could create additional options for providers connecting merchants, banks and digital assets.
That is a potential opportunity for Dropp—not confirmation it is part of the cross-border test.
The evidence today:
Implemented: Truist RTP integration. Demonstrated: bank and stablecoin checkout. Documented: FedNow showcase presence and integration plans. Pending: the Fed’s cross-border approvals and rollout.
Each milestone tells a different part of the story.
My takeaway:
Dropp already has a concrete banking integration and demonstrated Hedera-based payment capabilities.
FedNow’s next phase adds a development worth tracking.
Watch for named partners, production connections and measurable usage.
Follow the rails. Follow the evidence. > 引用 @coinbureau: ⚡️NEW: FedNow, the Fed’s instant payment service for U.S. financial institutions, is going CROSS-BORDER, but it is NOT using stablecoins.
FedNow will handle the U.S. leg of international payments in DOLLARS, while correspondent banks handle the overseas leg.
That puts stablecoins in direct competition, as banks gain a 24/7 regulated alternative for faster cross-border payments. https://x.com/MarcoSalzmann80/status/2104243594311745598
