Everyone already knows the event is coming but there is the backstory.
Vlad didn’t start Robinhood as a retail app guy.
In 2010, he and Baiju built Celeris in New York, then Chronos Research, selling low-latency software to the same trading firms Robinhood later made irrelevant.
Same pattern now with Robinhood chain. Tokenized stocks on 24/7 markets, with fees cycling onchain.
His wife Celina named the company. The real bag is equity, estimates put him around $6 to $7B, almost all tied to whether this platform actually becomes the system.
Vlad has one move: take infrastructure the old world sold to insiders and ship it to everyone.
He did it with equities. He’s trying it again with the chain.

People are trying to declare it "dead" again.
Guess what?
The same exact thing happened late July / early August when volumes had plummeted from the peak!
Hood was dead. It was a "fun little experiment".
Until it wasn't.
It slowly started to climb back from the lows...
And then - it exploded.
Everyone who called for its death at the lows became its most vocal supporters at the highs.
That's the natural psychology of a volatile market in the early stages of growth.
So, here we are, once again two months later... and people are saying the same thing.
They'll look even dumber this time than they did last time though.
Because it's more obvious than ever that Robinhood Chain will be a pivotal part of this cycle.
