## @blknoiz06 (Ansem 🐂🀄️) · 09-25 03:52 · ♥449 ↻49 💬127 this cycle isn’t like any other cycle

the closest comparison i see is the 2020 DeFi expansion, when an entirely new vertical brought billions of dollars onchain

this time, stablecoins and especially tokenized stocks are opening another new lane for crypto

institutional capital, retail and developers are all entering through different channels, while the market structure itself has played out differently from prior four-year cycles

trying to map this cycle one-to-one with the last one could miss what’s actually changing in front of us https://x.com/blknoiz06/status/2103331729817960551

$ETH is one of the most valuable networks in this market. Do you ever wonder why? It's because the stablecoin market moves trillions worth of value per month on Ethereum.

People will say that it's because most of DeFi lives on Ethereum too, and yes that is true for now. You need a liquid stablecoin market in order for a successful DeFi market.

Stablecoins > DeFi > Network Effect > XRP value going up

I hate this idea that stablecoins immediately replace XRP. Maybe listen to CEOs and actual crypto natives when they tell you stablecoins actually REINFORCE XRP instead of replace it. > 引用 @sentosumosaba: "It could be that XRP is the best bridge asset for that purpose, or it could be that, no, a stablecoin is going to solve that problem better." - Brad Garlinghouse,

🇮🇶 IRAQ: Banking reform is accelerating — reconnecting Iraqi banks with international correspondent banking, strengthening compliance and digital payments, while Baghdad is actively courting U.S. banks and companies for investment in energy, airports, infrastructure, ports, rail and the Development Road.

🇮🇷 IRAN / HORMUZ: U.S.–Iran negotiations are now reportedly exploring a phased reopening of the Strait of Hormuz alongside possible easing of the U.S. blockade. Iran has also signalled it wants a deal before the U.S. midterms.

🏦 U.S. FINANCIAL SYSTEM: The CFTC has just updated its framework around tokenized permitted investments, tokenized collateral and blockchain-based recordkeeping — moving tokenization further inside the regulated financial system.

💵 STABLECOINS: The Federal Reserve is simultaneously proposing the regulatory framework for Board-supervised payment stablecoin issuers under the GENIUS Act, including reserve assets, capital, risk management and bank issuance.

🔗 THE CONNECTION: Iraq is working to reconnect its banking system to the international financial network, the Middle East is potentially moving toward greater trade/energy normalization, and the U.S. is building the digital rails for tokenized money, assets and liquidity. https://x.com/DarKaptain/status/2103278059746959647
