All Robinhood Stock Tokens are backed 1:1 with real shares in secure custody. And Stock Tokens receive the economic equivalent of dividends and corporate actions returns reinvested into their holdings.
In other words, when a new Stock Token is minted, we buy a real share of the company at the same time.
What about in-kind redemption and voting rights? Not yet, but they’re coming. Step one is to scale adoption of Stock Tokens. We’re actively working on redemptions for shares 1:1 with voting for eligible Stock Token holders on the roadmap. We know how to do this well: we run a shareholder engagement platform, Say by Robinhood, which allows shareholders to participate in actions like voting.
What about the technology? We built Stock Tokens to be composable, which allows developers to build new innovative offerings like we have seen the past few weeks, with many that we have yet to discover.
What am I the most excited about? Billions of people in the world don't have access to U.S. investment assets. With Stock Tokens, that era is ending. For users trading from Europe & Asia, balances, prices and quotes will no longer need to cross the Atlantic first.
Target latency: ~25 ms, down from ~190 ms today.
In our testing, that makes Ordo faster from Europe than any other Robinhood Chain RPC we measured.
Transaction submission still ultimately goes to Robinhood’s sequencer in the US, so trades are handed off through our US site, which sits close to it.

The success of launchpads on Robinhood like $PONS and $STONKBROKER showed how quickly liquidity can concentrate around a new launchpad narrative.
Now the same war is starting on @arc.
Only 2 days until Arc mainnet, and everyone wants to capture the first wave of users and liquidity.
The first launchpad I’m watching the most right now is $DEPEG / @liftdotfun.
In my view, $DEPEG has one of the cleanest positions on Arc network because it is focused on native USDC launches, and that matters a lot on a new chain where early liquidity usually wants the simplest path possible.
I also think this kind of setup gives the pad a better chance to attract early users, early memes and the first real runners once Arc goes public.
