AI game statistics: 528 games made with AI, counted
Which AI builds the most games, which tools and engines creators pick and how much of the code AI wrote. Every number is counted from the catalog when the site is built.
It counts our catalog, not every game made with AI. 485 of the 528 games (92%) were made for a game jam, and that shapes the results.

Median placement by tool
Lower is better, out of 945 entries. A tool needs 10 placed games in this jam to show up; medians round to the nearest place.

Which tools get used together, and which games link source code?
Most creators name one tool. These are the pairs that show up most, and the share of games that link a public repository (public code isn't always an open source license).

How we count
Each live game in the catalog counts once. To be listed, a game has to be playable, have a gameplay loop and be substantially made with AI, by its creator's account or its jam's rules, and every game is reviewed before it's listed. Drafts and broken or removed games don't count.
AI credits come from the creator's own words (a submission, a jam entry, a README) or, for a few games, from the project itself; each game's page names its source. An AI family is either named by the creator or follows from a named model. A tool alone never fills in a model or a family.
Percentages and blanks
Percentages divide by every game in the stated denominator, blanks included, and round to whole numbers. A game can count under several tools, families or genres, so shares overlap. Charts show the most common values; the downloads hold every live game.
"Not recorded" means nobody stated it: a blank engine doesn't mean no engine, and a blank jam doesn't mean the game was made outside one. Every listed game has a platform, a player mode, a genre and a date added.
The jam comparison
It takes the jam with the most games we list and sets the entries with a recorded top-50 placement against all of that jam's entries we list. It describes our catalog, not the whole jam.

Both files hold all 528 games in this build, one row each. A row has the game's links, its AI credits and their source, engine, genres, platforms, player mode, jam and placement, date added and player rating.

In the CSV, lists are joined with | and a blank cell is not recorded. In the JSON, lists are arrays, a blank is null, and every slug comes with its display name. An unstated AI share is unknown in both, and text that starts like a spreadsheet formula gets a leading apostrophe.
Ratings carry their own time, ratings_as_of in the CSV and ratingsAsOf in the JSON (UTC). It can be older than the build date, since a build that can't fetch new ratings keeps the last ones. Ratings as of Oct 2, 2026, 13:09 UTC.
