At first, tax revenue helped lower property taxes and fund our schools. But now, there's a data center on every corner, and we're facing serious impacts on our quality of life.
In Congress, I will work to establish federal baseline siting standards for future data centers, so communities never have to deal with data centers in their backyards. (Because this is insane!)
For families who already live next to a data center, I'll advocate for significant property and/or state tax deductions. Families can then use that extra money to remediate the issues they face living next to a data center.
As your congressman, I will be laser focused on addressing these quality of life issues, as well as pursuing an all-of-the-above energy strategy. It's time for real solutions, not more bills to "study" or "measure" the problem.
