## @gvizor (GODZILCROCK WEB3 SENSEI™️🐊🇨🇭) · 09-19 10:49 · ♥71 ↻71 💬2 Bitcoin doesn’t have to sit idle. But does putting bitcoin:native to work mean putting your entire financial activity on display?

For long-term BTC holders, that’s an important question.

Bitcoin’s public ledger makes balances, transactions, and activity verifiable. That transparency is fundamental to Bitcoin but when bitcoin:native moves into DeFi, it can also expose more information about how capital is being used.

Starknet is approaching BTCFi differently.

With strkBTC, Bitcoin can move into @Starknet DeFi as a BTC-backed asset, giving holders access to productive onchain use while introducing an optional privacy layer through STRK20.

The important part is the choice.

In public mode, strkBTC works like a standard ERC-20: balances and transfers remain publicly verifiable, and the asset can be used across Starknet applications.

In shielded mode, selected balances and transfers can be hidden from public view. Users can shield from supported wallets, transact privately, and unshield when they want to return to a public balance.

That creates a different model for BTCFi:

bitcoin:native → strkBTC → Starknet DeFi → optional privacy

The goal isn’t to make Bitcoin invisible.

It’s to give Bitcoin holders more control over when their financial activity is visible.

And that matters as #BTC moves beyond simply being held. Starknet’s BTCFi ecosystem is expanding around lending, staking, liquidity, and other productive uses for Bitcoin, while strkBTC adds a privacy-aware path into that ecosystem.

For long-term holders, the interesting shift is simple:

Bitcoin can remain verifiable without every financial strategy being publicly exposed by default.

That’s the position @Starknet is building toward with BTCFi: productive Bitcoin, with user-controlled visibility.

Cross-Chain Travel Guide: Polygon

https://t.co/AON0FRs3AT’s cross-chain travel guide has reached its next stop: Polygon.

What I find interesting about Polygon isn't simply that it is another network connected to TON.

It represents a different part of the broader crypto ecosystem.

Polygon is closely connected to the Ethereum ecosystem and uses EVM-compatible infrastructure, which means developers can build and deploy applications using tools and patterns familiar across Ethereum and other EVM networks.

That has helped create a wide range of applications around DeFi, payments, NFTs, and other on-chain use cases.

But from a user's perspective, the important question is simpler:

How do you actually get from one ecosystem to another without making the journey unnecessarily complicated?

This is where cross-chain infrastructure becomes interesting.

https://t.co/AON0FRs3AT currently supports cross-chain routes between TON and Polygon alongside other networks including TRON, Ethereum, Base, BNB Chain, Arbitrum and Avalanche.

The underlying idea is to make the route feel more like one interaction instead of asking users to manually coordinate several separate steps.

Omniston handles the cross-chain execution layer, using resolver-provided liquidity and atomic settlement. The result is designed around an all-or-nothing outcome: the swap completes and the destination assets arrive, or the transaction fails and the assets are refunded.

That distinction matters.

Cross-chain DeFi isn't only about how many networks can be connected.

It is also about what happens to the complexity between those networks.

A user shouldn't need to understand every piece of routing and settlement infrastructure just to move from TON to another ecosystem.

The infrastructure can stay complicated underneath while the experience becomes easier on top.

And that's why I think Polygon is an interesting next stop in this travel guide.

TON has its own growing ecosystem.

Polygon has another.

Cross-chain infrastructure creates a way for those ecosystems to interact without treating every blockchain as an isolated destination.

The more networks become connected, the more important that user experience becomes.

Different chains. Different ecosystems. One increasingly connected DeFi landscape.

I'm curious to see where the travel guide goes next.

## @DeFi_Dad (DeFi Dad ⟠ defidad.eth) · 09-19 15:05 · ♥71 ↻8 💬9 There will be crocodile tears from ETH haters and sideliners when ETH reaches $4,000, as fast money rotates violently, driving the price to slice right through $5,000 before teleporting to $7,000 - $10,000.

We just need $4,000.

That’s a 50% move from here.

Plan ahead. https://x.com/DeFi_Dad/status/2101326911775367423

## @scopuly (Scopuly - Stellar Wallet) · 09-19 13:07 · ♥71 ↻4 💬3 😳 Stellar $XLM just fixed one of tokenization’s biggest hidden problems.

Blockchains never close. Stock markets do.

So what happens when a tokenized asset keeps trading on Saturday… but its underlying market stopped pricing it on Friday? 🤔

That’s exactly why the new Pyth × Stellar integration matters.

Pyth Pro + Pyth Indices are now live on Stellar, bringing:

📡 3,500+ market data feeds ⏱️ Updates as fast as 50ms 🌙 24/7 pricing for traditional assets 📊 Equities, commodities, FX, crypto + more

And Stellar $XLM already hosts $4B+ in tokenized real-world assets.

Connect those two pieces. Stellar is building the asset layer. Pyth is bringing the price layer.

Together, that opens the door to smarter collateral, lending, trading, vaults and institutional DeFi that doesn’t have to “close for the weekend.”

That’s a much bigger deal than another oracle integration. 24/7 assets need 24/7 financial infrastructure. And $XLM just added another piece of it. 🧩🌐
