I’ve been digging deeper into Primus, and one use case that makes the privacy + verification idea much clearer to me is Proof of Reserves.
A lot of financial information exists offchain, but bringing that information onchain creates a difficult balance.
You want enough transparency for people to verify the claims being made, but you also don’t necessarily want to expose every piece of sensitive financial information behind those claims.
This is where @Primus_labs becomes interesting to me.
Primus’ Proof of Reserve service is designed for real time verification of both onchain and offchain portfolios, using its verification infrastructure to make financial information more useful onchain.
The bigger idea here isn't simply putting more financial data on a public blockchain.
It’s finding a way to make that data verifiable without requiring complete exposure of the information behind it.
The Primus brief currently reports $72M+ in PoR TVLs across four production projects, including RWA and stablecoin applications.
For institutional onchain finance, this makes the privacy vs. verification conversation much more practical.

The more I read about @Primus_labs, the more I understand why their approach is focused on working across existing blockchain ecosystems.
Institutions already have their users, applications and financial activity spread across different ecosystems. Adding privacy shouldn't mean forcing everything into an isolated environment.
Primus takes a different approach.
It combines zkTLS for verifiable data with zkFHE for computation on encrypted data, while maintaining a blockchain neutral infrastructure.
The idea is simple but powerful: sensitive information can remain private while data can be verified and encrypted data can still be computed.
That’s an important piece of infrastructure if confidential finance is going to work across the ecosystems people already use.

It’s a mad mutant Monday down under. The weather is still cool but not too bad. Around 20c or 68f. The NRL is heating up. The Sydney Roosters and the Newcastle Knights have won through to the grand final this weekend. Can’t remember when the knights last made a grand final. I hope they win.
It’s time for me to take a look around and see wtf happened overnight.
The crypto market cap is flat at 2.88T.
Bitcoin ($BTC ) is up 0.7% to 84.6k. It is still just range trading from 83k to 85k. It has had a little run up here but got rejected from the top Bollinger. RSI is holding flat so no one is winning this tug of war but STO is climbing making the next likely move down. It’s pretty boring rn.
Ethereum ($ETH ) is flat at 2.68k. Of the other big guns sui:native is up 10.5% and hyperliquid:native fell 1%.
The biggest mover rn is $QNT up another 90%. There are articles about its fusion product and potential staking and the older one about the clearing house selecting it for its payments role.
The biggest loser rn is still Akedo down another 6%. That is one of the worst token unlocks I have seen. No long term holders.
