Armstrong says he opposed a January draft over DeFi, tokenization, CFTC authority, and stablecoin rewards, arguing the bill would have harmed crypto and was not passable.

At the same time, he says all four of those issues were fixed in the version that advanced through committee about four months later.

The final Senate draft, he says, was "great," and he strongly supported it.

The CLARITY Act then failed to advance in the Senate on September 15, falling short of the 60 votes needed for cloture.

Armstrong accuses the Journal of repeating bank lobby talking points after years of Coinbase pushing for crypto legislation.

I posted the forward returns seen from one perspective earlier today.

Now to a potential contrarian view.

The TACOmeter is showing the worst level since the war began and moving higher towards the levels since during the tariff panic all while incentives are the highest to deflate it into midterms.

Should we somehow find a way to end this disastrous war, we would see yields, oil and fears move lower sharply upon which we have the chance to see a strong rally as seen historically.

Furthermore we are exiting the worst period of the presidential cyclicality into the strongest historical one right at the end of the month.

The admin has a chance to TACO, attempt to fulfill its promises of lower inflation and no more wars while letting the AI led GDP boost and Defi theme grow to a great and high GDP growth.

Lorsque l’attaquant ukrainien est arrivé à Montréal, on évoquait des frais de transfert proches de 5 M€. Le président Gabriel Gervais n’avait pas confirmé ce montant, mais il avait bien affirmé qu’il s’agissait de l’un des plus gros investissements de l’histoire du club.

Depuis, Synchuk a disputé 32 matchs en MLS, dont 23 comme titulaire, pour un total de 2 buts et 1 passe. Ses statistiques reflètent assez justement sa contribution au jeu offensif du club, qui est pratiquement nulle.

Dans son couloir droit, le jeune gaucher de 20 ans régresse de match en match. Son langage corporel est triste à voir. Une passe vers Synchuk est souvent synonyme de perte de balle après un mauvais choix de dribble ou d’un tir non cadré après un geste précipité.

Quoi faire avec cet investissement?

Habituellement, lorsqu’un club commet ce genre d’erreur de recrutement, on passe simplement au prochain appel et on tente de récupérer une partie de son investissement. Un peu comme le FC Porto a tenté de le faire avec Ivan Jaime, en cherchant à récupérer une portion des 10 M€ investis sur le joueur.

Est-ce que Montréal va ou veut emprunter ce chemin?

Il reste peut-être une autre option pour relancer son joueur : le prêt.

Ici, on ne parle pas d’un prêt déguisé en essai pour un futur club acheteur. On parle réellement d’un prêt pour rebâtir la confiance du joueur.

Hennadii Synchuk n’affiche pas le même état d’esprit dans les matchs avec sa sélection espoir. Il faut évidemment dire que le niveau des adversaires n’est pas le même qu’en MLS.

Mais c’est peut-être justement un signe que Synchuk a besoin de poursuivre son évolution ailleurs et que ses performances avec Montréal retardent sa progression.

Hennadii Synchuk n’a probablement pas réellement coûté 5 M€ au club. Mais une dépense de 3 ou 4 M€ n’est pas nécessairement une perte irrécupérable.
