## @PolymarketMoney (Polymarket Money) · 09-19 16:09 · ♥43 ↻2 💬7 BREAKING: Michael Burry reveals the Big 5 hyperscalers may have roughly $3,000,000,000.00 in AI infrastructure commitments that aren’t obvious in headline capex numbers. https://x.com/PolymarketMoney/status/2101342976429703236
## @BlacklionCTA (Brent aka Blacklion) · 09-19 13:07 · ♥32 ↻3 💬7 I am missing something and I think it is a deep understanding of AI CAPEX because this week we had the Fed and BOJ raise and the SOFR yield curve STEEPENED into fall 2027. https://t.co/A4XuH1yJu5 https://x.com/BlacklionCTA/status/2101297192073838632
## @HyperTechInvest (Daniel Romero) · 09-18 22:59 · ♥34 ↻0 💬8 I'm starting to think 2026 may be a local top for neocloud contract economics
Either AI lab ARR explodes, fewer data centers than expected get built, or compute economics normalize
I think the industry eventually goes back to at least a 2-year capex payback period https://x.com/HyperTechInvest/status/2101083792807239860
## @Sam_Badawi (Sam Badawi) · 09-19 15:48 · ♥34 ↻1 💬5 Michael Burry’s “Cassandra Unchained” argues the Big 5 hyperscalers, $AMZN Amazon, $META Meta, $GOOGL Alphabet, $MSFT Microsoft and $ORCL Oracle, may have roughly $3T in AI infrastructure commitments that are not obvious from headline capex figures.
He points to footnotes on lease commitments, related-party demand and off-balance-sheet spending, including Oracle’s $288B in leases that have not yet begun payment, and questions how much reported AI demand is being recycled through interconnected customer and supplier relationships.
Burry also challenged Oracle’s 121% growth figure and contrasted roughly $400B in combined prior-year profits across the five companies with the scale of their infrastructure commitments, while stopping short of alleging fraud. https://x.com/Sam_Badawi/status/2101337647721636163
