Pi Network (@PiCoreTeam) pi-network:native says it is exploring stablecoins to support payments and other activities across its ecosystem.
The ecosystem would like to have stablecoin solutions work alongside the native cryptocurrency and not work as a replacement.
The partnership between the network and Open Standard (@openstandard), the developers of base:0xb2000000000000000000002feb517dfec7415344, will investigate reward possibilities for Pioneers.
Pi Network says implementation will require careful design and compliance considerations.

🇪🇺 EU regulator ESMA is giving crypto companies until January 8, 2027 to fully exit stablecoins that don’t comply with MiCA rules.
In simple terms, this means:
• Crypto exchanges must stop offering noncompliant stablecoins
• Companies must end custody and transfer services for affected stablecoins
• Only stablecoins meeting EU requirements can continue operating under these rules
This isn’t just a proposal. Companies have been given a clear deadline to comply.
