The move has been building over the past few weeks, and the latest numbers make it hard to ignore. JST is around $0.13, with a market cap of roughly $1.07B and more than $40M in 24-hour trading volume in the snapshot shared.
The momentum is also notable:
+16.6% in 7 days +31.7% in 30 days +54.4% in 90 days +213% YTD
CoinMarketCap also reported JST reaching the $1B market-cap milestone on September 27.
What makes this more interesting is what sits behind the ticker.
$JST is the governance and utility token of the JUST DeFi ecosystem on TRON, with roles across governance, stability fees, lending and liquidity. The ecosystem has also been developing a buyback-and-burn mechanism that adds another layer to the token's economic story.
So seeing JST move into the $1B+ market-cap range isn't just another number on a chart. It shows how much attention the market is currently placing on the JUST ecosystem and its role within TRON DeFi.
Of course, market cap can move quickly in crypto, so the milestone itself doesn't tell the whole story.
The more interesting part is watching whether the activity, ecosystem usage and token economics continue to support the valuation from here.
