## @SimonDixonTwitt (Simon Dixon) · 09-12 19:19 · ♥332 ↻70 💬27 🇬🇧🇺🇸 Reform just received £72 MILLION from two crypto billionaires in 48 hours.

Follow the money.

£36m came from Ben Delo, co-founder of BitMEX.

Delo pleaded guilty in the US to violating the Bank Secrecy Act.

Trump pardoned him in 2025.

The other £36m came from Christopher Harborne, who owns 12% of Tether.

Now zoom out.

Trump signed the GENIUS Act.

His Treasury Secretary openly said stablecoins would expand access to the dollar economy, create new demand for US Treasuries and strengthen “dollar supremacy.”

The FIC is putting the dollar onto TIC rails.

Official data currently puts Japan at around $1.1 trillion of Treasuries and the UK at around $940 billion.

But Federal Reserve researchers found official data may undercount Cayman-domiciled hedge fund Treasury holdings by around $1.4 TRILLION.

Correct for that and Cayman becomes the largest foreign holder.

That isn’t really “Cayman.”

It is largely the global hedge fund industry domiciled there.

The FIC.

Now add stablecoins.

Dollar stablecoins turn US government debt into internet-native money that can move globally without depending on traditional correspondent banking and SWIFT for every transaction.

But unlike Bitcoin, centrally issued stablecoins can be frozen and blacklisted.

Global distribution combined with financial surveillance and control.

The FIC integrating with the TIC.

But I don’t think the whole world is moving onto the same monetary system.

I think it is splitting into multipolar nodes.

My thesis is that continued MIC escalation and restructuring across Central and South America, Europe and the UK ultimately reinforces a Western financial sphere increasingly tied to the digital dollar.

Not necessarily by officially replacing national currencies.

Dollarisation can happen gradually.

Payments.

Savings.

Stablecoins.

Settlement.

Tokenised securities.

Treasury-backed digital collateral.

One rail at a time.

Meanwhile, outside that Western sphere, China, Russia, the Gulf and other emerging multipolar blocs are building CBDC, local-currency and alternative settlement rails designed to reduce dependence on SWIFT and the dollar-based correspondent banking system.

So what looks like de-dollarisation globally could coexist with MORE dollarisation inside the Western sphere.

My theory is:

MIC helps reshape the geopolitical nodes.

FIC controls and finances the dominant monetary assets.

TIC provides the digital rails.

The Western node becomes increasingly dollarised through programmable Treasury-backed stablecoins.

The emerging multipolar nodes increasingly settle through CBDCs, local currencies and alternative digital rails that circumvent SWIFT and reduce their dependency on the dollar.

Then those separate monetary nodes become increasingly interoperable.

Multipolar geopolitically.

Fragmented monetarily.

Interoperable digitally.

And the dollar potentially becomes MORE dominant within the Western node even while losing market share globally.

Now look again at the £72m going into Reform.

One donor made his fortune from BitMEX and was pardoned by Trump.

The other is one of Tether’s largest shareholders.

Reform is Britain’s political movement most closely aligned with Trump and has aggressively embraced crypto.

That doesn’t prove Trump, Tether and Reform coordinated anything.

It does make the direction of travel worth watching very closely.

Because Britain is already one of the world’s largest financial nodes for US Treasuries.

If dollar stablecoins become embedded into British payments, savings and tokenised markets, you don’t need to abolish sterling to begin dollarising Britain.

You just need people to increasingly choose the dollar rail.

That is the architecture I am watching.

MIC reshapes.

FIC finances.

TIC controls the rails.
