What matters: Funding the next growth wave & Status of the growth projects in terms of infrastructure build out and roll out plans.
What I will be looking at:
♦️Deliveries - but they only have to be enough to keep factory utilization within designed range and generate revenue. Growth will come from selling cars - BUT NOT YET. FSD will sell cars.
♦️Energy. Is it trending closer to the nameplate capacity of Shanghai and Lathrop? What is the guidance on Brookshire. This is also a revenue driver right now to fund growth.
♦️Comments around the credit lines Tesla obtained. This offers important flexibility with increasing Capital spend to fund RoboTaxi and Optimus.
♦️CyberCab Rollout. This will be the most important topic on the call. Still a go for the rest of Texas, Florida and Nevada. Three states is a significant step. What is the plan for the CyberCabs we see everywhere? (I would like to see a national move to ease deployment in the US, but that wouldn’t be until after midterms. And it is difficult, it remains a nice-to-have).
♦️CyberCab wireless charging? This will increase fleet utilization rates. Not necessary yet, but hopefully is in the pipeline along with plans in Buffalo to produce the wireless charging pads at scale.
♦️Optimus production line buildout. On track? Initial production goals per line?
♦️Tesla Semi - how long is the wait list - will Tesla be building a second strategic factory in Europe or Asia? Or the US?
♦️Chip Fab research Lab buildout and timelines and funding.
♦️Status of the other JVs - Terafab, AI Space Compute and Macrohard. Status of using Tesla chips at superchargers - is this a go? Leveraging existing assets helps reduce costs of new projects. > 引用 @DoctorJack16: Woke up to an email with Tesla’s Q3 delivery estimate consensus.
462K delivery for Q3 seems like a low estimate.
Important to know Tesla does not endorse these numbers but we will know this Friday when Tesla releases the actual numbers.
