Polymarket DeFi is about to be so back > 引用 @shayne_coplan: Calling all crypto twitter.
I'm proud to announce that Jacob Horne @js_horne has joined Polymarket. He will be working closely with me on product, in particular making Polymarket DeFi great again.
Jacob is amongst the best product and innovation minds in crypto. Before this, he was CEO of Zora. He built multiple beautiful products (I was one of the first users of the first version in 2020). Now he's got the PMF and distribution of Polymarket. I'm so excited to work with him.
We'll be hosting a Polymarket DeFi town hall soon to hear from our longtime users and lay out the plan to make the Polymarket DeFi product the best it’s ever been. In the meantime, DM your feedback to @js_horne or me and we'll action it.
To the DeFi community, we know the performance of the onchain product has waned as we've scaled, and it hurts us to hear the frustration of the people who love Polymarket and have supported us for so long thinking we’ve pivoted all focus to US, but just know we're working behind the scenes to unify the products and make Polymarket better than ever, across all surface areas. https://x.com/lynk0x/status/2100724059684163922

## @zordcrypt (ZORD CRYPT) · 09-17 19:39 · ♥72 ↻3 💬42 Confidential transfers are quietly moving from a privacy-coin niche into real financial infrastructure.
The reason isn’t that everyone suddenly cares about privacy.
Public blockchains simply became too transparent.
Treasuries, payroll, OTC trades, and market-making now happen on-chain.
That means transaction sizes and balances can be watched by: - competitors - MEV bots - analytics firms
The new approach is more practical:
Hide the amount and balance while keeping enough information visible for compliance and audits.
That’s what makes this wave different from the Tornado Cash era.
✦ Why it's growing
→ Better compliance: viewing keys, auditor access, and transaction screening make privacy easier to use in regulated environments.
→ Better UX: users can keep familiar wallets and assets instead of learning an entirely new system.
→ Native infrastructure: Solana’s Confidential Transfers returned to mainnet in June, while later upgrades made the underlying ZK proofs more practical.
→ Real DeFi use: confidential vaults and private swaps are turning privacy from a cost into a feature.
✦ The projects to watch
+ @zama - $ZAMA: confidential versions of assets like USDC and USDT using FHE. Its dashboard shows roughly $770–790M cumulative volume and $418–432M shielded volume.
+ @near_intents - $NEAR Confidential Intents: private cross-chain execution. It has reached $1.57B cumulative volume, with $847M in the last 30 days alone.
+ @hinkal_protocol: focused on private payments and settlement, with $400–500M+ in claimed confidential volume.
@RAILGUN_Project - $RAIL: one of the longest-running DeFi privacy layers, with reported volume in the billions depending on the methodology.
+ @solana Confidential Transfers: hides amounts and balances while keeping addresses visible. Privacy Cash has also processed roughly $120–160M+ in reported activity.
+ @SuiNetwork - $SUI taking a similar approach with institutional use cases and controlled auditability.
✦ So how big is it?
There is no clean total.
Different protocols count different things, and some activity overlaps. Shielding, withdrawals, vault deposits, and pool migrations can also inflate volume.
But the public numbers already point to billions of dollars in cumulative confidential activity, with usage accelerating in 2026.
And that number is likely undercounted.
In my opinion, confidential transfers aren't winning because people suddenly want to become anonymous.
They're winning because companies don't want to publish every financial transaction to the entire internet.
The pitch is becoming very simple:
Same assets. Same rails. Same compliance. Just don't publish the invoice on-chain.
That’s what could turn privacy from a niche crypto feature into standard financial infrastructure. https://x.com/zordcrypt/status/2100670996344922237
## @0xBispo (Defi Priest) · 09-17 18:55 · ♥74 ↻10 💬5 $PLONK might be the next #GameFi runner 🥷🏿✝
@a1lon9 @PumpfunEco
Called at 60k now 140k anon…
@OfficialPlonk is a 3D RuneScape-style MMORPG that runs in your browser.
You gather, mine, fish, craft, fight mobs, do raids and trade with other players.
Earn to Play, before GTA VI lol 😂
That's cool, but even cooler is the economy.
You play, earn gold in-game, then sell that gold for $PLONK, which is burned from the game economy permanently.
Oh and yeah, the project also uses real ASIC mining infra to fund the token buybacks.
Still very early, but seems to be catching on as 300+ players have already registered.
