## @ChillTRD (Chill) · 09-15 19:02 · ♥61 ↻4 💬12 Outside of RWAs, a narrative Vlad/Robinhood has been focused on is Agentic trading.
What happens when they find out that there is a project leveraging the tech stack Vlad co-founded? > 引用 @RobinhoodApp: Crypto doesn't sleep. Neither does your agent.
AI agents can trade crypto on Robinhood in a dedicated account, on your terms, 24/7. Not available in NY. https://t.co/A8afa8rbEL https://x.com/ChillTRD/status/2099936791797412211
## @galileowilson (Galileo) · 09-15 20:21 · ♥59 ↻5 💬9 My problem with robinhood:0x88ad8ddf1e3898412146a534538d418c6f8a9062 is simple:
who is the next buyer, and what are they actually buying it for?
I’ve been reading the mechanics behind @standard_rsv, @NetNetCap and @projectmars_rh. The more I read, the more I prefer NET’s model.
Here’s why.
STANDARD holders receive no branch emissions just for holding, no governance rights, and no right to redeem the reserves.
The token’s clearest utility is expanding a bank. But you need a charter first, and at the time of writing, charter transfers are disabled and new charter auctions haven’t opened.
So the productive use of the token is currently gated behind an NFT new participants cannot acquire (lol).
Existing bankers spend STANDARD to add branches and earn more STANDARD. Those purchases burn tokens, which matters. But new branches also spread the issuance across more participants.
Right now, 1,099 branches share 700,000 STANDARD per day.
To withdraw, you retire branches and sacrifice their future earnings. Close your final branch and your charter burns. Withdrawal fees range from 2% to 60%.
That creates a strong incentive to delay exiting. It still leaves the demand question unanswered.
robinhood:0xca9c78dd337a67f6e0077f65f5e9218719d30edf gives me a much clearer framework (why i’m invested).
I buy NET, stake it, and assess its price against calculated reserve backing. Staking emissions fall to zero at or below NAV. capacity-limited buyback mechanism offers an exit below NAV.
NET can still be overpriced, its premium can collapse, and rebases aren’t free profit. But I can evaluate what I’m paying relative to what backs it.
Mars has another meaningful distinction: plots accrue ETH. Half is claimable while keeping the plot; burning unlocks the other half.
That creates a tangible decision between taking accumulated ETH and keeping future earning power. DRILL also has uses for players who don’t own land: rigs and ore trading.
With STANDARD, both your accrued payout and future emissions depend on the same token finding demand.
Buybacks, reserves and burns can help. My concern is what happens when enthusiasm for expansion fades while bankers still want to cash out.
That’s why I prefer NET’s economics and find Mars’s exit mechanics more compelling than Standard's.
Before buying the “onchain central bank” narrative, ask yourself what makes someone want the currency once the launch hype is gone. https://x.com/galileowilson/status/2099956680536764514
## @Drallio (Drallio) · 09-15 19:20 · ♥51 ↻7 💬10 been thinking about the coin that really helped start this whole recent memecoin run, and i still can’t fade it.
$CASHCAT first made its way onto Robinhood Assets, then not long after got listed directly on the Robinhood Exchange.
it’s now grown to over 110K holders, which is pretty crazy for a coin this young.
still one of the strongest communities i’ve seen from this cycle.
hopefully this ends up becoming the first cat to reach a multibillion dollar valuation.
