# "private key" (compromised OR stolen OR leaked) — X 热门讨论 (2026-09-29 14:12 UTC)

## @NaoXprotocol (NaoX | Post-Quantum Chain) · 09-29 13:30 · ♥22 ↻4 💬5 The year is 2026, and crypto has already lost well over $1 billion to hacks. Some of the biggest include:

@bitget: $390M @Liquid_BTC: $320M @KelpDAO: $292M Drift (now @VelocityDEX): $285M Step Finance: $27M, and it shut down weeks later @ResolvLabs: $25M @THORChain: $11M

By value, most of it was lost through compromised keys and access rather than faulty code.

Every one of these attacks still needed a way in: a phished employee, a compromised system, a flaw found in someone's code.

That barrier is what protects most holders today, and it's exactly what a quantum computer removes.

With enough qubits, the public key already sitting on-chain is all an attacker needs. From it, they can derive the private key and sign as the owner.

The NaoX Chain was designed with that attacker in mind. Every transaction is signed with NIST's post-quantum standard, leaving a quantum computer no known path from public key to private key.

Over $1 billion gone this year, and quantum computers haven't even arrived yet.

Imagine when they do.
