@injective Meridian Mainnet Upgrade is now live, and the bigger story is where it takes the network next.
One major addition is regulated token standards on Injective EVM.
The idea is to make compliance rules part of the token infrastructure itself, creating a clearer path for issuing regulated real-world assets onchain.
Another important piece is unified MultiVM markets, bringing assets across Injective’s execution environments into a more connected market structure.
There is also private RFQ testing, which Injective says is a building block toward its upcoming CypherOS privacy platform.
What makes this more interesting is the wider institutional direction.
Earlier this year, Injective Institutional Services became an SEC-registered transfer agent a separate milestone that adds regulated infrastructure around tokenized securities.
So I see Meridian as more than a technical upgrade.
It connects several pieces around the same goal:
RWA issuance → compliance → markets → privacy.
If these layers continue to develop together, $INJ could have a broader role across the financial infrastructure Injective is building.
