Flights. Cross-border settlement. Working capital. Banking friction.

MeridianX is rebuilding that stack with stablecoins.

T+0 / T+1 settlement. Real aviation commerce. Real cash flow.

Not an on-chain product searching for utility. A real industry coming on-chain. https://x.com/MeridianX_/status/2100406991973937173

## @Dr_Picoin (Dr Altcoin ✝️) · 09-17 07:47 · ♥42 ↻6 💬3 The real battle has always been between traditional finance and the rapidly growing world of decentralized finance and crypto.

Banking groups have raised concerns that crypto and stablecoins could compete with traditional bank deposits, and this senator who voted against the CLARITY Act cited the same reason.

But crypto adoption will not simply stop because one piece of legislation fails to advance.

Traditional financial institutions are already adapting. Banks are increasingly offering customers ways to gain exposure to digital assets without leaving the traditional banking system altogether.

The financial system is changing. Instead of ignoring crypto, major institutions are increasingly positioning themselves to participate in its growth.

With or without the CLARITY Act, crypto adoption continues. > 引用 @RealLindellTV: 🚨 JOSH HAWLEY EXPLAINS HIS NO VOTE ON THE CLARITY ACT 🚨

Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) was one of four Republicans (including @SenThomTillis, who switched his vote at the last minute) to break with the party and sink the crypto bill's advance in the Senate.

His reasoning:

"My concern is all to do with farmers in my state. Ag is our number one industry in Missouri, and farmers are so concerned they won't be able to get loans from small-town banks, because investors will leave those banks chasing the yields available under the bill."

@HawleyMO said Sen. @JerryMoran, who also voted no, has language that could fix it - calling the issue "pretty doable" to resolve.

"We've got to make sure those banks stay in operation, stay competitive, and have enough capital to make loans or our Missouri economy will collapse." https://x.com/Dr_Picoin/status/2100491859210441179
