## @GlobalMktObserv (Global Markets Investor) · 09-16 17:05 · ♥31 ↻9 💬11 ⚠️Professional investors are increasingly worried that companies are OVERSPENDING:

~33% of global fund managers said this month that companies are overinvesting, the highest share on record.

This percentage turned positive only last year after spending 2 decades in negative territory.

Meanwhile, hyperscaler capex is expected to approach ~$800 billion in 2026 and exceed $1 trillion for the first time in 2027.

Hyperscalers have also issued $218.7 billion of debt so far in 2026, more than double the ~$102 billion issued in all of 2025 and over 6x the 2024 total.

Hyperscalers could issue ~$400 billion of bonds next year.

Investors believe the AI investment boom is running too far, too fast. https://x.com/GlobalMktObserv/status/2100269736198131849

## @KrisPatel99 (Kris Patel 🇺🇸) · 09-16 22:44 · ♥30 ↻0 💬2 The market is being powered by earnings growth thanks to AI capex and its beneficiaries.

A big portion of that came from equity gains in Anthropic, SpaceX and OpenAI.

Next year that might be a headwind + depreciation hitting earning from capex from 2022-2023. https://t.co/yUdhLZxBP5 https://x.com/KrisPatel99/status/2100355226511274408
