Covering this one as it has been quite a while since I've done so.
Obviously the market downtrend has hit it quite hard.
There are a few things I both like but also don't like right now.
The good:
Market is semi-back. Bitcoin and Ethereum have very likely entered their next bull run.
This will also trickle down to many alts including SUI. Alt liquidity isn't at full bull run levels (hence why I said "semi-back") but the majors have entered their bull phase again.
It's also at generational strong support. It will very very likely not go down from here anymore.
It's actually already showing signs of bouncing.
The bad:
Structure is still in a downtrend (no higher high yet). However I actually do expect this to not be a problem and actually make a higher high.
The real problem that I less like is chain popularity and usage. Sui isn't the talk of the town anymore.
This isn't just because of the recent downturn. Ethereum, BNB, Solana, Robinhood etc also were hit but remain very relevant.
Meaning activity needs to come back along with the bull market.
Otherwise you will still see SUI bounce but simply not as high as before.
Liquidity will be fragmented and not flow everywhere. This run will likely be a battle for a piece of the pie.
The entire cake isn't large enough anymore for everything.
Yet all things being said. It's still a large cap that has stood the test of time vs the average low cap that just completely died.

what's actually load bearing is what can't be dodged:

a security team that won't overpromise is the only kind worth paying, and every time someone pays, the supply shrinks
