1️⃣ Bitcoin enters the new week near $84.6K after a strong weekly rebound. BTC gained about 5.3% over the week and briefly traded above $87K, while ETH finished Friday near $2,693. Rising U.S. Treasury yields later in the week limited some of the earlier momentum. 2️⃣ U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs posted their strongest week in nearly a year. The funds attracted about $2.4B in net inflows during the week ending Sept. 25, pushing their 2026 net flows back into positive territory. Spot Ether ETFs added approximately $689.9M over the same period.
3️⃣ Institutional ETF demand broadened beyond BTC and ETH. U.S. spot Solana ETFs recorded a $86.7M single-day inflow on Friday—their largest since launch—and $188.2M for the week, while spot XRP ETFs added roughly $75.6M during the week.
4️⃣ New SEC staff guidance clarified one area of token regulation. SEC staff said that announcing token buybacks on an already functional crypto network does not, by itself, constitute a promise that makes the token a security—another incremental regulatory development following the recent setback for broader U.S. market-structure legislation.
