You can use one to research the market, build a strategy, and place trades within limits you set.
Each agent only gets access to a dedicated agentic trading account, and manual trade approval is on by default.
Robinhood says 150,000+ customers have already opened agentic trading accounts, with agents now using its tools nearly 30 million times a day.
Coming next is “Loops,” which can keep checking the market and run a strategy automatically when certain conditions are met.
Robinhood is also adding Agent Apps, so users can plug in premium data and tools from Nasdaq, Unusual Whales, SpotGamma, Quiver Quantitative, Token Terminal and others.

Right now, the long term mega-win for perp coins is US regulatory approval. When it comes to that, nothing has changed today. All indications seem to point to the CFTC being open and willing to give a decentralized perp exchange a license.
Once that happens and you combine it with a decentralized exchange which has infinite user and capital reach across the globe, superior technology will win. The only real moat centralized players have had over the past decade is on the regulatory side.
I think we will see a lot of the TradFi players who have had to choose wonky exchange/license setups for perps so far switch over to DEXs once they get their license.
My bet remains with the decentralized perp players. Always bid on max FUD days.

This is the US launch. US retail perps have to run through a CFTC regulated broker and venue, and HOOD owns both. Bitstamp already runs perps in Europe, so this was the easy build.
Outside the US it's a different lane. The perps tab in Robinhood Wallet runs on Lighter, and Robinhood put money into Lighter's round last November.
Vlad on the Q2 call: "you should assume that it's multi-homed."
What matters for ethereum:0x232ce3bd40fcd6f80f3d55a522d03f25df784ee2 is that licensing decides who is even eligible for US broker flow. That's the C-Corp thesis in one headline.

But a non-exclusive deal with the regulated Tier 2 (if?) CEX they own? Ehhhhh probably not a nothing burger but not far from it.
Robinhood already aggregates liquidity from a variety of partners, it was never going to be only Lighter.

has been one of highest conviction bags w/o a second thought really but i have no idea how it makes new highs after this (large part of pricing/future growth was hope for deep robinhood partnership/perps integration) + you have unlocks & variational coming now too along with being up ~5x+ from the lows
