Privacy has worked well for BDX. The bigger question is what happens when that privacy becomes infrastructure for other assets and applications.
That is where @BeldexCoin’s upcoming architecture gets interesting.
Beldex is moving beyond a network designed primarily around private BDX transactions. Its roadmap introduces privacy tokens and account-based addresses, creating a foundation that can support assets and applications in a more familiar account model.
The Privacy Token Standard is particularly important.
Instead of privacy stopping at the native asset, other tokens could have confidential balances and private transfers as well. Beldex is also developing an SDK and extension wallet to make that privacy layer easier for developers to use.
Then there is the EVM-compatible sidechain.
The current plan is to bring an EVM testnet in Q2 2027, giving developers familiar Ethereum tooling while building applications on top of the privacy infrastructure Beldex is developing first.
That sequence matters:
Privacy tokens → account-based architecture → EVM environment → private applications
The interesting part is that Beldex isn’t treating privacy as a feature developers have to bolt onto their dApps later. The stated direction is to make it part of the underlying architecture from the start.
And there is already a live ecosystem underneath it: BChat for encrypted messaging, BelNet for private networking, Beldex Browser for private browsing, and BNS for human-readable identities.
Beldex also announced an $8M funding round in August 2026, specifically pointing toward privacy infrastructure for Web3 and AI, including private tokens, applications, SDKs, encrypted agent identities and confidential payments.
