btc leaves your bitcoin wallet through garden. strkBTC lands on @Starknet . at that moment it behaves like a normal token. balances and transfers are visible, same as any other asset.
shield is optional. that is the point.
you turn it on when you do not want the next transfer or the size of the bag sitting in the explorer for anyone who knows your address.
you turn it off when you need public liquidity, a normal swap, or the route back to native btc.
