## @Nick_Researcher (Nick Research) · 09-15 04:58 · ♥128 ↻15 💬34 Unpopular opinion: @arc is hot, but its eco looks like a copycat of Robinhood

as you might know, i’ve spent the past few days digging through Arc projects before public mainnet

the clearest signal: 50+ launchpads already exist

well you know Robinhood started the tokenized stock + memecoin launchpad war with @ponsdotfamily, @longdotxyz and others

then the same model then expanded to: - Solana: $STONK, $EMBER - BNB Chain: $BREW - Now Arc: dozens of similar platforms

imho, launchpads are EAST TO FORK

and there is a reason devs keep choosing this model → it generates REAL FEES only with a “low” effort

current launchpad sector metrics:

- $241.4M TVL - $77.3M fees in 7D - $25.2M revenue in 7D

$PONS alone generated $45.9M in 7D fees and $7.5M in revenue

on a new chain, a launchpad is one of the fastest ways to attract liquidity, create assets and capture trading fees

i see the same pattern with gamified NFTs

the narrative gained traction on Robinhood → now devs are bringing similar concepts to Arc and Ink

my concern is the lack of native, differentiated protocols on Arc

i’ve tried to find projects that could create a new category or narrative, but there are only a few

most major Day-1 deployments are established DeFi protocols such as Uniswap, Aave and Fluid

strong infra, but they are not uniquely Arc

for now, my main Arc thesis is the LAUNCHPAD WAR

i expect it to be brutal from the first day of public mainnet

there may be more 50+ competitors, but I believe only 1-2 will survive and eventually control most of the volume

that's why i worked hard to filter out the real leader this week

S-tier rank projects are those i believe have a real edge before launch - @liftdotfun - @minarafun - @TradePools - @akadotfun - @Arguspad - @TollyLabs

still to much, but i think at least one of them will outperform and thrive

i could be completely wrong if Arc mainnet launches with several strong native protocols that are still under wraps

@jerallaire might already notice this situation, real founder keeps building iykyk

but i’d rather plan around the facts & signals available today than speculate about products i haven’t seen

Arc will receive major attention at launch

i wonder how quickly that attention converts into sustainable liquidity and how long it stays there

hype may come and go very quickly

be ready, be wise fam! > 引用 @Nick_Researcher: well, that @arc launchpad ranking aged fast 😭

since my first post went live, 10+ new launchpads have appeared in my notifications

i went through every one, did more DD and spoke directly with several dev teams

a few are run by solo devs, but they’ve been extremely active and are shipping upgrades fast

so here’s the updated ranking:

• 10+ new platforms added • several launchpads re-ranked after deeper research • added "X Alpha" feature scanning major news/project • more changes likely as new teams keep appearing

now S-tier includes: - @liftdotfun - $DEPEG = first-mover - @akadotfun - AKA - @Arguspad - ARGUS - @minarafun - N/A

i'm looking into @TollyLabs | TOLLY as they are working smoothly, might be in S-tier

LONG has a RED FLAG because of the FUD + website is not working properly atm

Arc is moving way faster than i expected

this ranking will keep evolving with the eco https://x.com/Nick_Researcher/status/2099724515941155273

## @TheEmmiX (𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐦𝐦𝐢) · 09-15 07:35 · ♥73 ↻4 💬22 Stablecoin liquidity on Solana is starting to move into areas beyond trading.

@humafinance PST has grown to $322M, putting it at the top among yield-bearing assets on the network.

What stands out is where that yield comes from. It is tied to payment activity such as cross-border settlement and trade finance, rather than depending mainly on token emissions.

For $SOL, it’s a good sign. Stablecoin capital is being used for credit and payments, not just moving around DeFi markets.

Huma has reported zero defaults so far, while PST continues to grow. At this size, keeping the same level of transparency and risk controls becomes even more important.

The growth here is worth paying attention to, especially as more stablecoin liquidity starts moving into real payment and credit activity.

As Always NFA/DYOR > 引用 @humafinance: In just over one week, PST crossed $300M in market cap.

Now at $322M, PST is the largest yield bearing asset on @Solana, and the fastest growing in all ecosystems according to https://t.co/X667r5A7Tz.

## @Lowdef1 (Low DeFi) · 09-14 18:02 · ♥68 ↻13 💬0 Self custody is great, but being able to actually use your assets in the real world is where things get interesting.

That’s what caught my attention about @Tangem Pay.

Load your Pay balance, find a compatible contactless ATM, tap your phone and withdraw cash.

The current limit is $250 per withdrawal, with up to 3 withdrawals within 24 hours.

There’s also an important separation here. KYC for Tangem Pay is handled through its payment infrastructure and does not give the payment layer access to the private keys protecting your main Tangem wallet.

And when the recent Rain Solana contract issue came up, Tangem Pay users were not affected because its funding infrastructure runs on Polygon.

That distinction matters.

The wallet protects ownership.

Pay provides the spending and cash access.

Self custody, but designed to actually leave the screen and be used in the real world.

## @aafusumi77 (aafusumi) · 09-14 10:22 · ♥53 ↻4 💬13 SOL September catalyst is not the upgrade.

It is what people actually build after it.

SOL is sitting around the $100 level while Solana prepares to increase the maximum transaction size from 1232 bytes to 4096 bytes.

That sounds boring.

Until you think about what it enables.

Bigger ZK proofs. Larger multisigs.

More complex atomic transactions. Less need to split complicated operations across multiple transactions.

And the network already has serious activity behind it:

~$16.2B in stablecoins ~$5.9B DeFi TVL ~$3B daily DEX volume ~2.6M active addresses in 24h.

So my September thesis is simple: The upgrade itself wont send SOL higher.

The catalyst is the new activity it makes possible.

If developers turn that extra transaction capacity into better DeFi infrastructure payments

RWAs or institutional applications → SOL gets a much stronger fundamental story.

If the upgrade goes live and activity barely changes?

Then the market probably already priced in the headline.

September is not really a test of Solanas speed.

It is a test of whether better infrastructure creates more demand for the network.

That is the number I will be watching.
