According to preliminary on-chain investigations, the attack appears to have involved a malicious proposal submitted through @neutron_org 's expedited governance process.
The proposal reportedly enabled the attacker to gain admin control over several smart contracts, including those associated with @astroport_fi and @dropdotmoney .
Subsequent contract migrations appear to have allowed the attacker to drain assets.
The exact sequence of events and the full extent of the exploit remain under investigation.

Following the exploit, @astroport_fi quickly alerted its community about the potential compromise of its smart contract admin privileges.
