# malicious approval — X 热门讨论 (2026-09-25 15:06 UTC)

“Not your keys, not your coins.”

True.

But there’s another problem nobody talks about enough:

Your wallet can be perfectly secure while the transaction you signed is the thing that drains you.

You can have: → a hardware wallet → a fresh seed phrase → 2FA → every security setting imaginable

and still lose funds if you blindly approve a malicious contract. That’s the part newer traders need to understand.

Self-custody doesn’t mean “my wallet is safe.”

It means I’m responsible for what I authorize. Before signing, ask:

What contract am I interacting with?

What am I approving?

Is this approval unlimited?

Can I revoke it later?

Does the transaction actually match what I intended to do?

The next evolution of crypto security isn’t just better wallets. It’s better transaction awareness.

Because the most dangerous button in DeFi isn’t always “Send.”

Sometimes it’s Approve.

Be sincere,do you actually read what you’re signing before connecting your wallet? https://x.com/ShimizuMei_/status/2103483362023244233
