## @KAVA_CHAIN (Kava) · 09-14 16:01 · ♥231 ↻22 💬15 The rails were built before the rules.

DeFi didn't wait for permission. Stablecoins didn't wait for permission. Onchain yield didn't wait for permission.

Now Congress has a chance to catch up.

## @21shares (21shares) · 09-14 14:57 · ♥62 ↻15 💬1 $4B in tokenized assets. ~$1.6B RLUSD stablecoins. Both live on the same ledger ripple:native runs on: XRPL.

Here's the part a lot of people miss: none of it trades in ripple:native.

Our thesis is that more activity eventually lifts demand for it, not that it's denominated in it.

## @courjosh (CØUR JØSH) · 09-14 12:16 · ♥42 ↻0 💬30 BTC IS HOLDING UP WHILE TECH GETS HIT.

That’s the part I’m watching.

AI/tech is getting smoked.

$BTC is still sitting around $77K+.

Could be nothing.

But look underneath the price.

→ Stablecoins: ~$305B → DeFi TVL: ~$88.5B → DEX volume: ~$6.2B/24h → Perps: ~$13.4B/24h → @aave + @Morpho: ~$28B TVL

Liquidity isn’t disappearing.

It’s moving.

And while everyone watches the chart, the infrastructure underneath crypto keeps getting built.

The Senate just dropped the latest “final” CLARITY Act draft ahead of tomorrow’s vote.

@ethereum is moving Glamsterdam into Devnet-11.

And @symbiosis_fi just gave DeFi another reality check.

~46.1B unbacked $syBTC was minted.

The actual realized loss was around $336K.

~15 BTC was recovered.

That’s the part people miss.

The problem isn’t always liquidity.

Sometimes it’s whether the rails carrying that liquidity can actually be trusted.

• Stablecoins.

• Credit.

• Settlement.

• Custody.

• Tokenized assets.

• Institutional money.

That’s where I think the real game is moving.

✍🏻 My view: Crypto is getting very good at moving capital.

It still has a lot to prove when it comes to protecting it.

And that gap could end up being bigger than the next token narrative.

So I’ll leave you with this:

If BTC can keep holding up while tech gets hit, stablecoin supply keeps growing, and onchain credit keeps expanding…

Are we really watching crypto decouple from TradFi?

Or are we watching smart money quietly move into the financial rails that TradFi will eventually have to use? https://x.com/courjosh/status/2099472285480419773
