Investors Are Paying for Real-World Demand.
Here’s where fresh capital went in Q3 2026:
Exchanges & Brokerage: ~$1.09B Payments: $791M (24 rounds) RWA: $138M DeFi: $137M AI: $127M Blockchains (L1/L2): $109M
Payments pulled in more rounds and more capital than any other single sector, led by Augustus ($180M) and Felix Pago ($87M). Stablecoin-linked projects were a major draw.
DeFi took about 5% of the $2.62B raised, and Gauntlet’s $125M round was most of it. That’s while DeFi TVL rebounded 38% to $95B.
Infrastructure’s share of funding more than doubled, from 8.1% in H1 to 18.2%, and AI-related deals drove that, not new mainnets.
New L1 and L2 protocols raised just $109M, as capital moved toward businesses that connect crypto to traditional finance.

Tokenized stocks are advancing, but liquidity, investor access and legal ownership remain important considerations.

Revenue growth does not automatically translate into token-holder value. The connection between business performance and token demand still matters.

They announced their own stablecoin, etherfi USD, a few days ago, and it's built on Ethena's infrastructure.
Keep in mind that:
✔️ @Ether_fi already has over $300M in stablecoin deposits. ✔️ Their Cash card has crossed $1B in cumulative spending, with over 100k active cards. ✔️Ethena handles the stablecoin infrastructure, including reserves, minting, redemptions, and compliance.
This is @Ethena's first neobank client for its Whitelabel stablecoin service.
If https://t.co/lfEdgMkvPk can move even a fraction of those deposits into its own stablecoin, that's a whole new revenue stream from an ecosystem that's already doing $1B+ in card spending.

Decentralized exchanges across Avalanche recorded $3.75 billion in trading volume in September, marking an 83.7% increase from August and the highest monthly total since March.
A major contributor was Pharaoh, whose V3 and DLMM liquidity pools accounted for $2.86 billion of the overall volume.
The figures highlight a significant pickup in trading activity across the Avalanche DeFi ecosystem, with Pharaoh emerging as a key driver of September’s DEX momentum.
