## @kleaweb3 (Klea 🧸) · 09-29 13:41 · ♥82 ↻23 💬50 Robinhood Chain is moving fast
Since launching its public mainnet on July 1, the ecosystem has expanded with major names like Uniswap, Chainlink, Alchemy and BitGo.
The numbers are getting harder to ignore:
→ ~$1B+ TVL → $1B+ stablecoin market cap → DEX volume reaching $1.8B+ on peak days → $700M+ ETH bridged into the chain And the bigger narrative is even more interesting.
Robinhood is building around tokenized assets, DeFi, stablecoins and on-chain financial products, while projects across trading, liquidity and memecoins are starting to form an ecosystem around it.
The combination of Robinhood’s massive user base + an Arbitrum-based L2 + tokenized stocks could make this one of the more important RWA stories to watch.
No token yet. No need to force the narrative.
Just watch the ecosystem. 👀 https://x.com/kleaweb3/status/2104929498613317796
## @miiportable_btc (MIIPORTABLE_BTC) · 09-29 12:59 · ♥74 ↻3 💬86 𝗠𝘆𝘁𝗵 𝘃𝘀 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁, 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗸𝗕𝗧𝗖
There is a lot of confusion around what privacy actually means in DeFi, and most of it comes from mixing up two very different ideas: being private, and being untraceable. strkBTC on @Starknet is built around the first idea, not the second, so it is worth being precise about what shielding actually does and does not do.
𝗠𝘆𝘁𝗵: 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗸𝗕𝗧𝗖 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗕𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗼𝗻𝘆𝗺𝗼𝘂𝘀.
Fact: strkBTC is not anonymous, and it was never designed to be. Shielding gives you more control over what is visible about your balance and your activity. It is a privacy feature, not an anonymity tool, and those are not the same thing.
𝗠𝘆𝘁𝗵: 𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱, 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀.
Fact: shielding applies to your strkBTC activity, not to your entire identity or every action you take onchain. It changes what is visible about that specific balance and those specific moves, within the boundaries of how the feature works. It is a targeted choice, not a blanket disappearance.
𝗠𝘆𝘁𝗵: 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗱 𝗿𝘂𝗹𝗲𝘀.
Fact: strkBTC is not built to help anyone bypass KYC, reporting requirements, or any other legal obligation. Using it does not change what you owe or who you answer to under the laws that apply to you. Privacy here is about controlling visibility of financial activity, not about avoiding responsibility.
𝗠𝘆𝘁𝗵: 𝗶𝗳 𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲, 𝗶𝘁 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗿 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲.
Fact: wanting control over what your finances reveal is a reasonable position, not a red flag. Publicly traceable balances carry their own risks, including exposure to targeted attention, front running, and simply having strategy visible to competitors. Choosing more control over visibility is a legitimate financial decision, not a shortcut around legitimacy.
𝗠𝘆𝘁𝗵: 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘀, 𝘀𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗲.
Fact: this is the actual myth strkBTC is built to break. You can shield your strkBTC in one click from your own wallet, Xverse or Ready X, and still earn, lend, borrow, and trade across Starknet DeFi. Choosing more control over visibility does not mean giving up utility.
The bigger point underneath all of this: privacy is not a magic word, and it is not a loophole. It is a specific, limited, and useful feature, control over what your financial activity reveals, and understanding exactly what it does is more valuable than assuming it does everything or nothing.

## @hakan_trader (hakantrader.eth.lens.ink) · 09-29 12:26 · ♥74 ↻0 💬86 The more interesting BTCFi question isn't how to move BTC onto another chain. It's what happens after it arrives.
With strkBTC, Bitcoin can enter @Starknet DeFi and then take different paths : stake through Endur, provide liquidity, borrow, or remain shielded.
Starknet's v0.14.2 makes the privacy layer more interesting because STRK20 introduces infrastructure for shielded assets, with strkBTC as the first implementation.
That creates a different model for BTCFi :
Bitcoin provides the asset
Starknet provides execution
strkBTC provides the connection
STRK20 gives users control over visibility
The important shift is that privacy doesn't have to mean disappearing from the financial system.
It can mean deciding what is public, what remains private and what can be selectively revealed when necessary.
That feels much closer to how serious financial infrastructure should work. https://x.com/hakan_trader/status/2104910608902611453

## @PanteraCapital (Pantera Capital) · 09-29 13:04 · ♥81 ↻13 💬5 Pantera's latest State of Tokenization report is out.
We analyzed the $332bn tokenization market across 671 assets.
Institutions entered in force this quarter. J.P. Morgan, HSBC and Fidelity launched onchain products.
BlackRock's BUIDL moved $441mn onchain in June, runs a $1bn daily redemption facility, and is now accepted as collateral.
On the consumer side, Robinhood Chain hit $888mn in weekly RWA volume in August, two months after launch.
Collateral markets matured, with private credit putting 45% of its matched value to work in DeFi.
The lack of a market-structure bill didn't stop tokenized stocks. A five-year SEC exemption lets the market keep developing under current rules.

## @only1mrwhite (Mr White 🫶🏽) · 09-29 14:05 · ♥88 ↻1 💬13 The crypto projects I find most interesting right now aren’t just launching another token.
It’s the teams building real products, creating actual utility and pushing new narratives across Web3.
L1s building infrastructure. AI projects creating real utility. DeFi protocols finding new primitives. RWAs bringing real-world value onchain. GameFi projects that are actually playable.
I like products with a reason to exist.
If you’re building something ambitious in these spaces, I’m always interested in taking a closer look. https://x.com/only1mrwhite/status/2104935582560317652
