I have made millions, lost money and had to rebuild. So when I say “stay in the game,” I know what that means.
In 2017, I made a million dollars. By 2022, I had almost lost it all.
When FTX crashed that year, I moved from Miami to stay with my sister in Washington, D.C., because I couldn’t afford my monthly rent without liquidating my assets.
For three months, my sister housed me, fed me and took care of me.
Later, I started again with $350,000. In 2024, I made multiple millions of dollars. One right move within two months changed my financial position.
But behind those two months were years of work, mistakes, losses and starting again. You cannot judge your own journey by the successful moment you see in someone else’s life.
If you are still below 40 and have a clear direction, work towards it without treating every birthday like a deadline you have missed.
Keep learning. Keep working. Correct your mistakes. But don’t destroy your health trying to prove that you are successful before a certain age.
Sometimes things happen fast. Sometimes they take longer than you expected.
You haven’t failed simply because it hasn’t happened yet.
