Apple to finally introduce touchscreen MacBooks this month
Apple is reportedly preparing another hardware event for October 27, just two weeks after its scheduled smart home presentation. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the company plans to introduce its first touchscreen MacBook Pro models, an OLED iPad mini, a 14-inch MacBook Pro with M6 and an updated M6 iMac.

OLED iPad mini also expected
The upcoming iPad mini, reportedly known internally as J510, will switch to an OLED display. Apple is also expected to move the front-facing camera to the landscape edge and introduce a redesigned speaker system. The report does not provide pricing or detailed specifications for the new tablet.
The October 27 presentation would follow Apple’s smart home event scheduled for October 13, where new smart home hardware is expected. Bloomberg reports that Apple is preparing several additional Mac and iPad models for the first half of 2027.
