The bears called it a failed trade and even the Financial Times piled on. People were comparing STRC to Luna and FTX.
Here's where things stand now.
Strategy holds 847,666 Bitcoin, an all time high. At $84,000 that's roughly $7 billion in profit on the position.
The USD reserve sits above $5 billion. The 2030A convert is back in the money. Over $1 billion of preferred dividends has been paid without missing a single payment, through a 50% drawdown, a convertible debt scare and a rate hike.
Above 10.8% a year, Bitcoin growth outpaces the cost of all its credit. Above 3.2%, it covers every preferred dividend on its own. The credit only comes under real pressure below negative 11.8% a year.
Bitcoin's long-run average has been far above all three.
The company has significantly strengthened its balance sheet in a difficult market.
The bears have been proven wrong.
