The SEC has proposed clearer rules for how investment advisers and funds can custody digital assets. The proposal also allows limited self-custody by advisers when a qualified custodian isn’t available, and permits state-chartered trusts to act as custodians.
It’s still a proposal, with a 60-day public comment period, but the direction matters: crypto’s institutional infrastructure is taking shape.

The launch doesn’t tell me much anymore.
What matters more is whether the idea has enough depth to keep changing, expanding, and finding new use cases.
That’s why these projects have stayed on my radar:
@mdv_btc introduces an interesting idea around ACCRETION and how a digital object can continue across Bitcoin and Ethereum.
@zerufinance is looking at practical ways to make onchain capital more useful.
@0xCyberThrone makes NFT identity feel less static by letting traits shape an evolving robot character.
@ptsdshow is thinking beyond a single post or collectible and building characters with room to grow.
@NucleusCodes is paying attention to contribution and reputation rather than simply rewarding the loudest accounts.
@vangrid_io takes the idea outside the screen, using real-world captures as a foundation for physical AI.
And @sleepagotchi is exploring how a simple consumer app can gradually become something much bigger.
Different sectors. Different approaches. Different problems.
But they share one thing I find interesting:
They don’t feel finished.
And honestly, that’s what I want to see.
Not just a strong launch.
