## @iamgingertrash (simp 4 satoshi) · 09-11 00:49 · ♥55 ↻5 💬10 The United States has a credibility problem with its $40T debt pile
It says the solution is growth (AI capex + SV singularity rubbish)
Capex is very sensitive to interest rates, so a hike gambles with destroying the AI trade, for short term Fed credibility
No hike comes. https://x.com/iamgingertrash/status/2098212361328890117

## @Pivot2Centre (Niks) · 09-11 00:14 · ♥39 ↻0 💬4 Oil prices rising, bond prices rising.
Every major recession is preceded by this.
That AI capex isn’t gonna happen if bond prices don’t come down https://x.com/Pivot2Centre/status/2098203614317600782
## @ShanuMathew93 (Shanu Mathew) · 09-10 21:16 · ♥31 ↻4 💬2 Oracle brought 850 MW of data center capacity online in the June–August quarter, versus more than 1.2 GW delivered across all of FY26.
The financing detail matters alongside the buildout:
>Q1 capex was $28.5B, with ~$18B of net cash outlay. A $10.5B difference between reported spending and the funding requirement.
>At May-end, Oracle disclosed $75B of prepaid and customer-supplied hardware portions within its large AI contracts. Customers either fund GPU purchases upfront or bring the GPUs themselves.
>That continued this quarter. The CFO says most new orders used prepayments, customer-owned hardware or similar structures, limiting Oracle’s incremental chip funding needs.
>On the June call, management said these structures preserved or improved margins versus prior contracts. Collecting cash before buying equipment also improves returns on Oracle’s capital.
>Customers are helping finance the capacity they need, while Oracle gets paid to deliver and operate it. That reduces the capital Oracle has to raise. It still has to execute the construction and power delivery, with ~$18B of net cash outlay in one quarter. https://x.com/ShanuMathew93/status/2098158768898904115
