Starting the day with appreciation.
My Sorsa Score just increased by 80 to 400, and I genuinely want to thank everyone who has been supporting, engaging and helping me grow along the way.
I’ve also been digging deeper into @zerufinance lately.
At first, Zeru looked like another DeFi project with a points system. Then I started looking at what Zaps actually do with existing wallet activity.
Your previous qualifying trades and onchain actions can contribute to your Zaps and zScore, giving your wallet history a starting point instead of treating you like a completely new user.
You can connect the wallets you already use, check your history and see what that activity has unlocked.
There’s also more around it, from Trader Score and Clans to trading campaigns and potential $ZERU related rewards.
What I find interesting is that the first step isn’t necessarily doing more.
Sometimes it’s simply checking what you’ve already done.

After testing privacy on Starknet a couple of times, I wanted to push it one step further.
Can you actually use private BTC inside DeFi without making the experience annoying?
I tried it with shielded strkBTC through Endur.
From my side, there wasn’t much to figure out.
Shielded strkBTC → stake → shielded xstrkBTC.
Done.
Then I checked the explorer.
That’s where it got interesting.
Underneath, Endur was temporarily unshielding the asset, processing the stake, and shielding the xstrkBTC again before returning the position to me.
I didn’t have to think about any of that.
My favorite part was what happened after.
The protocol activity was still visible onchain. The stake, mint and contract interactions were there.
But my final position showed up in Xverse as shielded xstrkBTC instead of just sitting there as another public balance.
That’s the balance I want from private DeFi.
The protocol doesn’t have to become invisible.
I just don’t need my entire financial activity to become a public profile.
And the UX matters.
Pick the asset.
Stake.
Wait for the transaction.
Done.
If privacy requires learning a completely different way to use DeFi, most people won’t bother.
If it works like the DeFi they already know, privacy becomes something you can actually use instead of something you have to think about.
Still, strkBTC and DeFi come with smart contract, bridge, liquidity and market risks. Privacy doesn’t remove any of those.

You press send, and you expect it to work.
That’s what I like about @teqoin. The technology can be complicated in the background, but the experience should not feel that way.
TeQoin is building an EVM Layer-2 using Optimistic Rollups, with near-zero fees and sub-second confirmations.
The project also reports 100M+ testnet transactions and 320K+ wallet users so far, which gives you an idea of how much activity has already happened around the network.
For me, speed only really matters when it comes with simplicity.
