For years, the RWA conversation has been:
“Put real-world assets on-chain.”
But something more interesting is happening now.
@Ondo U.S. subsidiary, Oasis Pro Markets, has become the first tokenization platform to join DTCC’s Fund/SERV network.
And this matters because Fund/SERV is already deeply embedded in the U.S. fund industry, processing more than 85% of U.S. mutual-fund transaction activity.
Oasis Pro now has a standardized connection to fund companies, wealth platforms and service providers instead of needing separate integrations with each one.
But here’s the important part:
This doesn’t mean Ondo’s tokenized funds are already being distributed everywhere through DTCC.
It means the infrastructure is being put in place to make that possible.
And that’s the bigger RWA story.
Tokenization isn’t just about putting an asset on a blockchain.
It’s about connecting that asset to the infrastructure that already moves money.
Issuance. Distribution. Settlement. Reporting. Compliance. Liquidity.
That’s where RWA gets really interesting.
We’re moving from:
“Can we tokenize this asset?”
to:
“Can tokenized assets actually plug into the financial system?”
