Update: See our latest on T-Mix here!

It’s been teased and rumored for weeks now, but we’ve finally dug up some real info on T-Mobile’s next big move: T-Mix.

T-Mobile is planning to launch a brand new fleet of plans under a new “T-Mix” name. There will be a “Standard”, “More”, and “Loaded” version. Here’s what we know so far.

Three Tiers

T-Mobile is returning to the traditional system of having three tiers of plans for customers to choose from. Right now, your lowest “mainline” plan available is Experience More, followed by the top-tier Experience Beyond.

Prior to the Experience plans, we had Go5G, Go5G Plus, and Go5G Next, a three-tier system. Now T-Mobile is returning to this format with T-Mix. These plans are all tax-exclusive just like Experience, so the pricing does not include taxes and fees. Please note that all of this information is subject to change prior to launch.

First up is T-Mix Standard. It’ll start at $65 for a single line, and includes the usual unlimited talk, text, and data, and includes 50GB of premium data. Two lines will be $105, three lines $130, four lines $155, five lines $180, and finally 6 lines $205.

Then there’s T-Mix More. Starting at $85 for one line, it offers unlimited premium data and 60GB of hotspot. This aligns with Experience more, but $5 cheaper for single lines.

Finally, there’s T-Mix Loaded. It’ll be $105 per month for a single line, have unlimited premium data, and 250GB of hotspot data, just like Experience Beyond.

All of the pricing for the More and Loaded plans line up exactly with their Experience counterparts, except for the single line on More. These prices do not include the autopay discount.

There is also a new “Essentials Saver 3.0” plan that will max out at two lines and cost $55 for a single line and $100 for two lines. It includes 50GB of premium data.

There are also the typical segmented variants of these plans for 55+, First Responder, Military, and Student customers.

Other details

The info we’ve gathered suggests the new T-Mix Standard plan will allow a maximum of 6 lines on an account. Any more than that you’ll need to move up to More or Loaded.

We’ve also seen concrete evidence that there is some sort of new autopay discount in the works that suggests there will be no 8-line cap on the autopay discount. It’s highly probable that this launches with the new plans.

What we don’t know

Admittedly, this is very little info to go on. However, we are 100% confident in the new plan names as well as their variants.

We expect these plans to include some kind of new system to integrate the new benefits and perks we detailed last month. Presumably, T-Mobile will allow you to pick which of the perks you’d like on the new T-Mix plans. The name itself implies you can “mix and match”, and we suspect this will be the entire marketing method for these new plans.

It’s not entirely clear when these new plans will launch. They were originally scheduled for last week, then delayed to today (10/1), but as of publishing time the plans still haven’t been announced, so we suspect it’s been delayed once again.

Either way, they’re coming soon. Keep an eye out for more info as we learn it.
