+$321.6M
Next two:
➤ Oct. 7: -$484.9M ➤ Oct. 8: -$244.1M
Two-day outflow: -$729M
October went from +$321.6M to roughly -$407.4M in 48 hours of trading.
That’s the useful part.
It took four sessions to build the inflow.
Two sessions removed more than twice as much.
And this wasn’t just GBTC bleeding into the aggregate.
IBIT lost $207.7M on Oct. 7.
FBTC followed with $197.1M of outflows on Oct. 8.
So the demand deterioration was showing up across products that have previously been major sources of spot absorption.
ETF flows don’t tell you why somebody sold.
They do tell you whether that marginal source of spot demand is currently absorbing supply.
For the first four sessions of October, it was.
For the last two, it wasn’t even close.
+$321.6M built over four sessions. -$729M removed over two.
That is not a slow deterioration in ETF demand.
It is a fast reversal in one of BTC’s largest visible spot-flow channels. https://x.com/Eliteonchain/status/2108520454516318404
