Not issuance. Settlement.
Pontes is now live, letting wholesale tokenized assets settle in central bank money while the asset itself can remain on a DLT platform.
And this isn't another CBDC pilot.
13 market participants are already onboarded, including Deutsche Bank, Santander, Société Générale, KfW and the EIB, alongside 4 DLT operators: Clearstream, SWIAT, Cashlink and Axiology.
The ECB is going one step further too.
It has started preparing to invest a portion of its own funds into tokenized euro-denominated public-sector securities, with those transactions settling through Pontes.
I think this changes the RWA discussion a bit.
Tokenizing a bond was never the hard part.
The hard part was connecting the tokenized asset to settlement money institutions actually trust, without forcing the entire financial system onto one blockchain.
Pontes basically says:
→ assets can live on different DLT rails → settlement can still happen in central bank euros → existing financial institutions don't have to abandon TARGET infrastructure
Stablecoins aren't disappearing from that equation either. The ECB itself expects private settlement assets to coexist with central bank money. So the next RWA competition probably isn't just who tokenizes the most assets.
It's who controls the rails connecting assets, liquidity and settlement.

The community itself becomes part of the routing signal
Not only follower count Not only engagement
Onchain behavior and social footprint sit underneath the ranking too
That can shorten the path between project and audience
Rank the communities Match the opportunity Route the allocation
Then let individual users compete inside that distribution layer
