If zcash:native had a DeFi ecosystem like Ethereum and Solana, would that make it less valuable?
My own personal answer:
I think it would, and that shows you how funny crypto is.
The key to making sure your token isn't valued on cash flows is making sure that that the network isn't actually functional enough to generate cash flows.
The moment the protocol literally does anything, it will be comped to the entire universe of all things that literally do anything, too.

What makes base:0xacfe6019ed1a7dc6f7b508c02d1b04ec88cc21bf valuable is the vertical integration with overall growth and utility. This is why it has been climbing all year whilst pretty much every other AI token didn't.
We flipped FET, Virtuals, and Render -- and soon WLD and ICP.
Very simple -- if you believe AI adoption will continue, then the supply of VVV will reduce and the demand will increase. All of which, is dictated out of necessity and smart contracts.

Who cares if he's right or wrong, you should WANT your priors checked by great minds like tulip. It takes a lot of courage to put your neck out there like this over and over again and I for one am extremely grateful for that. Otherwise this space is just mindless slop with pnl cards and botted KOL accounts parroting their bundle.
Im very thankful for his zec bullposting because it was great confluence but what they don’t tell you is you’re allowed to fade his opinion too!
He challenged the hell out of my hype conviction as it retraced from 59 to 21. I was of the opinion that hype was only crashing because of cz unloading + hyperevm lev unwind. He was of the opinion that all defi should go to 0. I understand his thesis completely, but i didn’t think hype fit. if he didn’t have that convo with me, i probably wouldve capitulated the lows instead of adding.
