A valid destination address does not prove the destination belongs to the same person who made the deposit
Fresh research tied to @Americanfort_io goes after that gap with Provenance Proofs
The idea extends ZKPoSP from proving one derived key to proving several public values share one hidden origin
A Bitcoin source address and a Solana destination address could prove common provenance without exposing the seed, private keys, derivation paths, or unrelated addresses
For a bridge, the flow becomes
deposit wallet → provenance proof → destination wallet → release
The verifier learns one thing only
Both values came from the same hidden origin
Not the seed Not the rest of the wallet Not a permanent public link
That opens a wider path beyond bridges too
Wallet recovery, key rotation, custody, compliance checks, anti-phishing flows
