## @X_Four_iv (FOUR | Crypto Spaces) · 09-27 00:30 · ♥81 ↻0 💬91 The bridge you use to get BTC onto @Starknet matters more than people give it credit for, mostly because there isn't just one option — and that's a good thing.

Bridging into Starknet is possible from multiple chains, not a single locked path.

That matters for a simple reason

If your BTC is sitting on a specific chain or in a specific wallet setup, you want an entry point that actually matches where you're starting from, instead of being forced through extra steps or a different chain first just to get in.

The walkthroughs floating around — mine included — tend to show one specific route (bridging via GardenFi into an Xverse wallet) because it's a clean, well-tested path to demonstrate the full flow. But that's a demonstration, not the only door in. Starknet's own bridges-and-onramps resource lays out the broader set of options if your starting point looks different.

What stays constant across every entry point is the part that actually matters

you bridge from your own wallet, and you're in custody of your BTC as it moves into Starknet as strkBTC. The route changes based on where you're coming from. The custody model doesn't.

If you've looked at BTC-to-Starknet bridging once, saw a flow that didn't fit your setup, and assumed that was the only option — it's worth a second look. The entry point that fits your situation almost certainly exists.

Bridging any asset across chains carries risk, including smart contract and bridge risk, and funds can be lost. Always verify the destination address and amount before confirming any bridge transaction, and do your own research on any bridge before using it.

Want to take your first step into BTCFi on Starknet?

The process starts with the BTC you already own.

You can move your Bitcoin through the supported bridge infrastructure and receive strkBTC on Starknet, giving that BTC access to the Starknet ecosystem.

From there, you can explore supported DeFi use cases such as lending, liquidity, trading and staking.

There’s also a privacy option built into the experience.

Keep your activity public when transparency is useful, or use supported shielding features for selected balances and transfers when you want additional privacy.

The important thing is that you stay in control of what you do with your BTC after it reaches Starknet.

Bring BTC in → receive strkBTC → explore DeFi → choose your level of visibility.

If you’re considering trying it, always verify the current bridge, wallet support and contract details first, and understand the risks before moving funds. > 引用 @VOnyechege4255: Good morning, legends

Bitcoin gave people a new way to think about ownership.

Now the next question is how much more can that ownership do?

With strkBTC on @Starknet, BTC can move beyond simply sitting in a wallet and into an ecosystem where it can interact with DeFi.

You can bring BTC into Starknet, use it across supported applications, and explore ways to make your capital more productive.

But utility isn't the only piece.

Having more control over what your activity reveals onchain adds another dimension to the experience.

That combination is what makes strkBTC interesting to me:

Bitcoin as an asset you own. DeFi as a place to use it. Privacy as an option when you need it.

The evolution of BTCFi isn't just about finding more ways to use Bitcoin.

It's about giving holders more choices over how their Bitcoin participates onchain. https://x.com/VOnyechege4255/status/2104068242268455223
