## @iRileyCrypto (Riley Morgan) · 09-11 14:02 · ♥89 ↻13 💬11 When institutions managing TRILLIONS show up for a fund launch on ZIGChain, you pay attention. 👀
ZM1 is more than another RWA launch — it’s a signal that serious capital is moving onchain.
More capital → more opportunities → more revenue → more $ZIG buybacks. 🔥
And if the next buyback cycle hits hard…
$ZIG could be entering a whole new phase. 🚀 > 引用 @ARafayGadit: Was honoured to speak at the launch event of Zamanat ZM1 Fund launched on @ZIGChain!
Full house with partners across Apex Group, Zoniqx, Truleum, AlHilal, Laser, Swissquote, Disrupt attended.

Private credit. Commodities. Money market funds. T-bills.
Four sources. Four risk profiles.

Scan to Earn、Yield to Earn、eSIM、全球薪资发放,同时也在布局AI Agent支付、跨境结算这些前沿方向。 @Polyflow_PayFi #polyflow https://x.com/caicai1953/status/2098388050971881748
https://x.com/0x10Me/status/2098365150118269419
## @Tanaka_L2 (Tanaka) · 09-11 13:24 · ♥44 ↻2 💬15 The State of Crypto Leverage 2026 👇
I’ve been watching DeFi lending through the wrong lens for a while.
I found out that the interesting signal right now is credit creation.
Crypto-collateralized lending fell 16.8% QoQ to $56.2B.
While outstanding loans on DeFi lending apps dropped much harder from $28.2B → $20.4B or -27.6% QoQ.
That was the third straight quarterly decline. At first glance, this looks bearish.
But I think the more important part is how the leverage is leaving the system.
In 2022, crypto lending collapsed by more than 55% in one quarter, followed by more forced deleveraging and counterparty failures.
This cycle has looked very different since there’s a slow reduction in leverage instead of one large credit event.
That says the DeFi lending stack is becoming structurally stronger even while demand for leverage is weaker.
And now we are already seeing credit come back.
By August, active DeFi loans had reportedly recovered to around $26.1B, almost 30% above June levels.
The protocols I’m watching most closely here are:
[1] @aave
Still the benchmark for onchain credit.
Nearly 19K active Aave V3 Core loans, with ETH-related collateral dominating the book.
WETH + weETH + wstETH represented roughly 54.6% of enabled collateral.
Aave e-mode positions had roughly:
– 90% debt-weighted LTV
– 1.06 health factor
– 10.7x debt/equity
That tells me a large part of DeFi credit is still effectively a leveraged ETH staking trade.
Aave therefore remains the best place to watch whether leverage is truly returning.
[2] @MorphoLabs
Morpho is probably the clearest alternative lending architecture to watch.
Instead of concentrating every asset inside one shared risk pool, Morpho’s isolated-market model separates collateral/borrow pairs.
That becomes increasingly important as DeFi expands.
Recent market data puts Morpho second behind Aave in active loans, around $5.1B in August.
[3] @sparkdotfi
It sits inside the broader Sky eco, where stablecoin liquidity, savings products, lending and RWA exposure increasingly connect into one balance-sheet structure.
That makes Spark interesting whenever the market moves from pure crypto leverage toward stablecoin-funded credit.
Reported active loans were around $2.1B in August, placing it behind Aave and Morpho among the largest lending venues.
[4] And then there is another group worth monitoring:
@eulerfinance → modular lending and permissionless market creation
@0xfluid → higher capital efficiency between lending and liquidity
@kamino → Solana-native lending + automated liquidity strategies
@JupiterExchange Lend → distribution advantage through one of Solana’s largest user funnels
The important part is that lending design itself is becoming more specialized.
The other signal I’m watching is borrow rates.
The weighted stablecoin borrowing rate rising after quarter-end to around 3.88%.
Meanwhile BTC borrowing remained only around 0.44-0.50% onchain, because BTC is still used much more as collateral than as something users actively borrow.
ETH is different.
A large amount of borrowing activity still comes from LST/LRT collateral.
→ borrow ETH → stake ETH → receive more LST/LRT → repeat
This trade stays attractive as long as ETH borrow costs remain below staking yield.
That means the next real DeFi expansion probably won’t show up first in TVL.
It should show up in outstanding loans:
→ utilization → borrow rates → collateral composition → leverage loops → liquidation activity
Because TVL tells me how much capital sits inside DeFi.
Credit tells me how aggressively that capital is actually being used. https://x.com/Tanaka_L2/status/2098402404148617247
