@blocks has joined the x402 Foundation and added Bitcoin Lightning support to the protocol
So an agent could hit a payment request, pay it through Lightning and carry on. No card checkout. No new account for every service
That’s the part I find interesting
x402 doesn’t really care whether the payment comes through Bitcoin, stablecoins or something else. It gives them a shared format
Still this is infrastructure for now
Show me agents making thousands of small payments without getting stuck on fees, failed transactions or refunds. The real value of gaming has always been the game itself.
➠ Your ability to think faster. ➠ Your ability to make better decisions. ➠ Your ability to outperform the person sitting across from you.
That’s the direction @LikaGames_ is taking.
LIKA is building a system where players can use stablecoins to compete across actual skill-based games, with the result determined by what happens inside the game.
➠ Chess requires strategy. ➠ 8 Ball requires precision. ➠ Football Penalty requires timing. ➠ X and O requires decision-making.
Different games. Same principle, your skill creates the outcome, and I think that distinction matters.
Because instead of creating another ecosystem where users spend months farming points and waiting for a future reward, LIKA is making the actual gameplay the product.
Web3 infrastructure makes the experience possible.
But the game is still the game.
