Migrate Airtable to PostgreSQLwithout data loss

AT Migrator is a tool that migrates Airtable bases to PostgreSQL, converting linked records into foreign keys and recreating Airtable formulas, rollups, and lookups as native SQL, not just syncing them as static values.

Customer story

Rizq AI: building their product on Postgres they own

Rizq AI moved their product to Postgres they own: full control, no Airtable rate limits, room to scale.

“Airtable was excellent for the early version. Once we needed a custom product we could control our own way, it stopped fitting the business. We tried migrating ourselves and with other tools, but nothing fully worked. Formulas and linked records felt impossible until we found AT Migrator.”

Proof, not promises

We migrated real Airtable bases and published everything

Two public samples: a 48,000+ record CRM with full data, and a formula-heavy projects base where nested IF, date, and score fields become live PostgreSQL views. Same output we deliver to customers, not a staged demo.

How to verify Airtable formula migration with our SQL showcase

Beyond the 48k CRM dump: a formula-heavy projects/tasks seed where nested Airtable formulas become live PostgreSQL views: download, import, and compare.

Sync tools mirror Airtable into Postgres; migration tools recreate schema and SQL logic. Here is how sync, NocoDB, DIY workflows, and migration compare, and when each approach fits.

How long will your migration take?

Move the sliders, or scan your real base, to estimate your migration window. Adjust how many API requests per second AT Migrator uses (Airtable's documented cap is 5 per base). Scans run entirely in your browser; your token never touches our servers.

Airtable caps each base at 5 requests per second. Set how much of that budget AT Migrator uses during migration. Leave headroom if External Integrations, scripts, or other tools still call the API while the run is in progress.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about migrating from Airtable to PostgreSQL

Yes. A free trial lets you run a real migration on a slice of your own base: 100 records, 2 tables, limited formulas, rollups, lookups, counts, and attachments, twice per account. Paid migrations are priced by how complex your base is, and you can check your level free. You can also verify our output on the public sample bases on the homepage, or book a free 30-minute discovery call.

Text, numbers, dates, attachments, rollups, linked records, lookups, formulas, and more.

Yes. Airtable linked records within your base are translated into PostgreSQL foreign keys, preserving relationships between tables where possible.

No. Native linked record fields only work within a single Airtable base. That is why each migration covers one base: all tables in that base, with unlimited tables and relationships preserved between them.

Yes. Connect S3-compatible storage during migration setup and files transfer directly to your bucket. We do not retain attachment files on AT Migrator servers except in transient processing needed to complete the transfer.

Pricing is set by how complex your base is, not by how many records it has. The free trial is limited to 100 records. Our pipeline is built for bases of 100,000 records and well beyond; very large or complex bases are scoped with us. You can check your complexity level free on the pricing page.

One purchase covers one base, with unlimited tables inside that base. To migrate another base, make another purchase, or talk to us about a managed migration for several bases.

No, your Airtable data remains unchanged. The tool only reads data.

We do not retain migrated cell values on our systems. Attachment files transfer directly to your S3-compatible storage and are not retained on AT Migrator servers except in transient processing. The Security page has the full breakdown of what is and is not stored, plus our sub-processors; the Privacy Policy is the binding version.

The tool provides detailed error messages and logs. You can retry at any time, and our support team can assist.

Yes. The generated migration script is included at every level, so you can run it on your own infrastructure.

Yes, support is available at support@atmigrator.com

AT Migrator reads each Airtable formula field and generates equivalent PostgreSQL logic as generated columns, views, or computed expressions depending on the formula type. The result is live SQL that recalculates from source data, not a one-time copy of the last computed value.
