Bloomwalker, a Studio Ghibli-looking adventure from South Korean developer Netmarble, was announced for Xbox and PC last year — and now we've got confirmation that it's also coming to PS5.

The game's a mix of exploration and crafting, as you clean away a kind of corruption from its open world. You'll also enlist the help of magical allies as you progress, and you can customise your abode, which just so happens to be a cosy wee house with legs.

Okay, so why have I stuck Ni no Kuni in the headline? Well, according to the title's new trailer, Bloomwalker is now officially part of the Ni no Kuni universe, with Level-5 partnering on the project.

The move should give Bloomwalker a little more recognition, as Ni no Kuni's been missing in action for years at this point.

It's unclear just how much of an influence Level-5 has over the game's continued development, but higgledies — the funny little creatures that assist the player in previous Ni no Kuni titles — make an appearance in the above trailer.

Bloomwalker still doesn't have a release window, but its reappearance does suggest that things are going relatively smoothly.
