Lucid has released Air UX 3.0, an updated in-car operating system for the Lucid Air that incorporates design elements from the award-winning Lucid Gravity interface. The update features faster performance, improved multitasking, redesigned controls, and expanded Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities, available as standard on 2027 models and via over-the-air updates for newer vehicles.
Electric vehicles can now accelerate from 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds or less, matching supercar performance. Models like the Volvo EX30 Twin Motor Performance and Chevrolet Blazer EV SS deliver this capability at relatively affordable prices, challenging traditional internal-combustion performance vehicles.
Polish rally champion Miko Marczyk drove an Audi A6 Sportback e-tron 1,338 km on a single charge across Poland, setting a new Guinness World Record for longest electric car journey. He achieved average energy consumption of 7.09 kWh per 100 km through smooth driving, careful speed management, and maximizing regenerative braking, surpassing the previous record of 1,205 km held by a Lucid Air.
